I took my car in for extensive work that another shop quoted me at 5400 dollars. GMP was 1000 dollars less for the same work, once GMP started the work they found that a major part of the other garages recommended work was not needed saving me another 2k. They could have dome the work amd not told me costing me quite a bit but they were honest and professional. I am highly impressed and will continue to take my car to them if ever needed.
I recently went to GMP Performance for an alignment after lowering my car. I had checked out several shops around town, but none had in-the-ground alignment machines — but GMP did, and they were able to get me in easily. When I arrived, Brandon asked if I was new to GMP, which I was, and he gave me a quick tour of the place, showing me the workshop and all the cars being worked on. (Updated Aug 25). Outstanding diagnosis and work done to address some electrical gremlins- fair pricing for parts and labor too which is always appreciated. Prompt estimate for oil change and clear communication throughout on German performance vehicle. Excellent customer service and took some notes on what to look out for next service visit too.
Went to GMP to help me out in a bind with a 2004 Mercedes wagon rear suspension replacement. There wasn’t a perfect solution and they were super transparent about that. Agreed on a non oem fix of putting a nut in washer on the dampener, however, I never saw the solution and the washer was so small. There was no way it was going to spread the force out appropriately over the rubber. A couple weeks later no more than 1000 miles and I noticed the diameter was hanging down an inch from the bodywork in the rear. Call about a week... read more
