We have had a horrible experience with GMA. The salespeople were great and we were promised timely and quality work. The only worker we ever saw, JR was sullen and slow. Our project started 11/23/18 and ended in July of 2019. The project manager came to the site every couple of months and was not responsive to our concerns. We are glad to be finished with GMA!
We engaged with GMA after a referral from lumber liquidators and the whole experience has been a horrible nightmare. We had to threaten with legal action to get them back out to see the state of the work. Floors were not installed properly and were separating in multiple places. That was a year ago. They finally came back and "relaid" the flooring. About 3 months ago it started gaping again. I will NEVER ever recommend GMA to do flooring work to anyone. Customers should read reviews on product that they put in their home. I’m sorry you had to go through this but we don’t get to tell you that the bamboo that you had us install needs to have perfect climate control or it moves. We expect to be paid before warranty work is done on this flooring.
Got associated with GMA through Lumber Liquidators to install a floor. Greg who did the estimate included a sub floor rip out and the parquet floating floor which was to be replaced with a glue down bamboo. He also included a 50 lb bag of leveling compound just in case. There was also an unspecified misc charge and dump fees for all the above. You say that changes were made by you and the installer who is a sub that we use. A change order would have let us know and you would have been billed properly. Without a change order we were left to go off of what that subs billing showed.
