Excellent service and helpful staff. My Escalade developed a problem coming over Homestake pass on a cross-country trip. Was able to limp into Butte Auto, and was very pleased with the knowledgeable and professional service department. They got me in the next morning and got me back on the road.
In the past we haven't had the BEST experience at Butte auto, but in March, and again yesterday, they were great. My husband decided to trade in his truck and found this Jeep. We test drove it with Connor, who was great. The process was much faster than buying a car usually is. No complaints! The Jeep looks great, and it's perfect to practice my photography with lol. 😊
I DO NOT recommend buying a used vehicle from this dealer. I purchased a used truck 3 month ago. After 10 days it started displaying warning lights. 45 days after purchase it was in the shop 3 times for different issues, the last one was the transmission went out. Also found out that it wasn’t even the original engine. Not only was it not the original engine, but it is an engine that is not 100% compatible with the transmission. Bought a 2002 2500hd they said it had a new engine, transmission, transfer case, brake lines. When I was doing the paperwork finalizing it, they said that it was in the shop being inspected. The very same day, when I got to my house, I noticed it was leaking oil. I let them know about it. He said the mechanics said that it was inspected and wasn't leaking when they expected it. Spoke about buying a specific pickup all day. I confirmed the price multiple times through message and on the phone. I was heading to butte to finalize the deal and they call and tell me the price is actually $13,000 higher. George was the salesman and Robby Drews was the sales manager. I will never buy from Butte auto and don’t recommend them to anyone.
