So sorry Glutton's is closing! We got to eat there one last time on Friday night to say goodbye to an old friend. My wife an I ate here a few times when she worked in Statesville during the 1990s --- always great food, drinks & service. The Statesville Rube is the best Reuben sandwich I've ever eaten. We also had our first taste of NC vinifera at Glutton's (West Bend Merlot). Thanks for the food and the memories.....
Great food. My 1st time trying and enjoyed it. Glad I had a chance to eat before they closed.
There will never be another restaurant this great!

We always find a way to stay in Statesville when we are traveling north or south, just so we can have dinner at Gluttons. The food service and atmosphere are always great.
This is mine and my wife's favorite place to eat. The staff is very friendly and the food is awesome. And Angie is just the greatest, we always sit in her area.
We came here on recommendation from the Red Roof Inn across the street. It didn't look like much on the outside but we were AMAZED from the moment we walked in the door at the beautiful and quirky decor! Out waitress was wonderful and the food was delicious; we got jalapeño poppers, split the filet minion with green beans and rice pilaf, and split a dessert. The dessert--OMG....chocolate cake with a gooey caramel layer topped with English toffee and toasted pecans!! So good!!!
When I feel lost and need comfort food, I always think of Gluttons and wish it weren't so far away. A true Gem for Statesville and the surrounding community.
