RecommendedToday we had to put my sweet Faith to sleep and it was such a hard thing to do. I know 100% that it was the right time but it still doesn’t make it any easier. On October 9, my husband and I took our 11 year-old Labrador retriever Abbey to the clinic for an emergency visit. Our girl was bleeding from her nose. We braced ourselves for the worst... and the worst came. Dr. Johnson and the staff at Gluckstadt Animal Hospital could not have been sweeter, more professional or more endearing to our family as we said goodbye to our Abbey. Thank you for helping us through such a difficult afternoon.
The front desk staff was very unprofessional. As a high risk individual, I really do not appreciate the complete lack of mask use and social distancing by the staff. I even expressed concern, but the front desk workers seemed uncaring and went as far as to approach me at close quarters despite me having told them I was a high risk individual. Could not recommend a better Animal hospital! Dr. Johnson is always going above and beyond to make sure Boogie is seen about and taken care of! I know Boogie is in good hands when he is with Dr. Johnson and his staff!
Dr. Johnson and the staff here are awesome! The staff are always so kind and caring! Dr. Johnson is always willing to answer our questions and does so with compassion! I know that Boogie is in the best hands whenever he is there! I highly recommend Dr. Johnson and the staff here! They really are amazing!
Our 13 yr old boxer is a patient here and has been declining. I called first thing when the clinic opened this morning after she took a turn for the worse and was obviously struggling to breathe and dying. My husband was already on his way there. I was immediately told they were too busy (five minutes after opening) and we should go to an emergency vet clinic. I found Dr Sturdivant for a year old boxer that other vets could not resolve stomach issues in despite lots of bills and expensive food. Dr Sturdivant determined he was not getting enough meds for his weight and had him cured in two weeks. The vets and staff have seen us through many dogs, checkups, surgeries, and end of days experiences since. They really do love your pets. Beth Dabit
I appreciate Dr Sturdivant, Katie, and the entire staff. They were compassionate and loving when we had to let our dog Buckley pass peacefully from cancer. With Charlie, they are super vigilant and attentive to his heart problems. This office is like family to me. Thank you for all you do.
