My first time piloting a boat on the ocean. Very easy to use boat, maps and navigation devices. Caught a lot of fish. Boating in Gloucester harbor is a great way to see the city.
Great service and Mike was very helpful! They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great, safe day. Very recommended. Beautiful area and coastline.
Overall, the boat rental was very good and what I was hoping for. Note that the rental shed is not always staffed and online bookings are not necessarily noticed within an hour or two of booking. A phone call to the owner at the published number was effective. The owner responded politely and quickly and got me out on the water for the full time period. The onboard chart plotter had a tendency to turn off and on uncommanded. So it would be good to learn how to turn it back on before shoving off.
