Brain damaged people do not qualify for any services no matter how severe.
I just walked in on some people from glory hospice who were in my brothers room at a local ICU. They were really pushing my sister , as were some hospital staff. I pushed back. At this terrible time in my brother’s life ( and our lives), we do not need the equivalent of used car salesmen fresh from a sales meeting and mutual “hoo ah” session. I work for MMTC and Glory Hospice hosts some of our students for their externship experience. The students that have had the opportunity to volunteer with them have found it to be very rewarding. They help the student hone the skills they need to work in the medical field as an EHR specialist or in MBC. Thank you for partnering with us to help the student and providing excellent palliative care to the patients.
I think it's a great place , for family with, needing comfort. Is a great place to be.
