This was an extremely upsetting experience. As I approached the business, the woman looked out the window, saw me, and immediately locked the door before I even reached it. I stood there for over a minute before she opened it, already yelling “No” without giving me a chance to speak. I had misread the sign, thinking it was a beauty supply store, but that doesn’t excuse the hostile and dismissive treatment I received.
