If I could give this doctor ZERO stars, I would. She belittled my daughter and I. She does not care about listening to her patients. I told her that we have waited months to see her and her reply was “others have waited months”. She shhhhed my daughter and I several times. She also told us that she was the INLY headache specialist in the valley. Wish I had read the reviews that were already available. DO NOT GO to this doctor.
Disappointing experience with a staff member named Jasmine. I called about an issue and questioned what she was telling me and she then told me I had an attitude with her. No, I did not have an attitude… I disagreed with what she said about a referral that existed and she told me that it didn’t exist, that it wasn’t their office that did it… I said it should be in my file. I would give zero stars if I could. Dr. Simms is not a good migraine specialist, and my experience with her care reflects both poor clinical judgment and poor practice management. I was previously on a stable, scheduled Botox regimen for chronic migraine under another neurologist. When that physician retired, I transferred my care to Dr. Simms specifically to continue evidence-based treatment. I went in to being told what i already knew and basically Dr gloria simms told me what i explained to her what happens to me with migraines and she told me the same thing but in her own words, pointless on going, she didn’t want a follow up or tests, she did not show interest at all, so sad. I do not recommend her at all, don’t waste your time if you have chronic migraines
I left this appointment feeling belittled and dismissed. The doctor spoke to me in a condescending tone, barely made eye contact, and seemed more interested in asserting authority than actually listening. I wasn’t treated like a person with valid concerns, I was treated like a nuisance. If you’re looking for compassionate care or basic respect, I’d strongly advise going elsewhere.
