Between being overseas, starting a new remote job, while moving from NYC to DC for a new position at work, I was expecting total chaos, and it was. Landlords weren’t ready, apartment searching felt like the Hunger Games, applying became so expensive, but Desiree made it happen. From apartment searching to finding Desiree and landing a townhouse, she was with me every step of the way. Always available (even with the time difference) and full of great energy, couldn’t have asked for a better guide through the madness.
As renters, we love having Globe Trotter as our property manager! They were brought on after a disappointing experience with another property agency and Globe Trotter went above and beyond to help catch up on maintenance requests and reassure us. Desiree is extremely responsive, understanding, and communicative. She took the time to walk through the home with us to identify any maintenance needs and consistently checked in until the contractors completed the work. We feel at ease working with Globe Trotter and Desiree!
Our experience generally with Globetrotter, and with Angela in particular, was great. The Globetrotter system is fairly easy to navigate for payments and maintenance requests. But the service provided by Angela, from initial leasing to final inspection, was exceptional. GTP has been a tremendous resource for our family while we serve abroad. They have done an outstanding job finding quality tenants. They have also gone above and beyond in handling the full spectrum of property management issues. Communication and level of effort has been commendable.
