This company seems to blame its clients for its own incompetence. I have been waiting for 6 months for a refund for a trip they cancelled. They filled out the bank refund form incorrectly. Carelessly. Now they are balking at fixing the mistake they made. The refund is for $20,000, a lot of money for a pensioner on a fixed income. It was to be my trip of a lifetime. While my few interactions with staff have been professional BUT their president I can’t say the same. Refused to cancel trip during COVID and his only response to our school was that per their normal business policy any trips canceled under 30 days will receive no refund. WE DIDN'T CANCEL THE TRIP, they and the world wide pandemic did! Sadly shows just how sleazy some people are literally stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from children....sad sad day, avoid at all costs!

If I could give a 0 I would. Global Travel Alliance's won't offer a full refund for the pandemic and "they are sticking to their policies so they don't go bankrupt like the other businesses that are offering full refunds will."

Only offering 70% refund for cancellation due to COVID-19 and giving parents about 5 days to make the decision. Refusing to cancel the trip only 3 weeks away with the US still deep in the COVID-19 pandemic. Families devastated by this loss of funds AND travel. Forcing parents to take an unfair gamble with their children and their finances.

FRAUDULENT company. THey are taking money from these poor kids that are unable to travel because of COVID. Good luck with the reviews and consumer reports being filed against you.

Most companies are great to work with until they encounter adversity. Global is no different. Due to COVID-19 trips have been canceled. Information was slow to be passed on to the consumer and then they required immediate answers. Cancelations of trips happened in a time frame only 50% of the cost was to be refunded. Trip insurance was deemed not usable. Vouchers for (75%) would be offered, what if you have other activities scheduled during these times, they said you could sell them.
