35 years ago I bought my home and Ann Arbor Alarms did the security and provided the monitoring. They had an office in the downtown area that I saw each time I passed. About 15 years ago I received a letter stating that the business was being changed to Global Security. I did not question anything but continued to pay the monitoring fees. If i could put a zero for a rating I would. I've been with them for over 20 years. This past September when I renewed and paid the year in full I thought I was all set. The first week of February I find out I'm not in the system so I haven't had coverage since last September. I called to complain and wanted my money back. I talked to some lady and she told me she'd get with her boss for a refund saying she didn't blame me for wanting my money back. Very happy with the install and service after system was installed.
We had an alarm system installed on Tuesday July 23rd. The installer set off the alarm while clients were in the building and the distraction between clients made it very difficult to stay focused. We apparantely signed a 3 year contract (not told to us by installer) and within three days called and faxed to state we would like to cancel the order as we found a cheaper alarm company.
