I’ve been tanning on and off for over 15 years, so I’m very aware of the pros and cons. I come here because I want to tan, both for cosmetic reasons and because I have vitamin D deficiency. What has become extremely frustrating at both of your locations (Lemmon & McKinney) is the constant, fear-based pushing of red-light therapy. I recently signed up for this since I cancelled my membership for Palm beach. I think I’d like it more if I knew I didn’t have to prepare to say no to being upsold every single time. Wish it could be like PB where I just walk in and get to it :( I know it’s probably their job but there’s been times I decide not to make a trip because I know what awaits me when I arrive, they offer great services and I’d like to enjoy my membership but this makes me want to go in, say no, spray , and leave. Great place for a walk-in spray tan, but every time I have been, the sales reps at the front desk aggressively try to upsell me as well as push the membership. I respect the hustle but it’s very uncomfortable to be pressured to do something when I politely say “no” the first time. I would much prefer to get in, get my spray tan, and get out, without answering a bunch of personal questions and having to defend my preference to not join the membership.

took over an hour from when I entered to when I left. Just wanted a spray tan, and the girl would not let me unless I signed up for a membership which I repeatedly said no to. Also they should let you know how much all those “add ons” for your spray tan are (only found out I was charged bc I checked my bank account when sending my request to immediately cancel the membership she made me sign up for). Current member - This place sets themselves apart from other tanning establishments. Since it became Glo Tanning -- it did a true 180. The equipment is new and top of the line. There are tons of bed choices etc. I love how clean the place is. When you walk in you can tell it has a complete make over that leaves you feeling very comfortable. I had a one off problem previously and Guest Services reached out to me by email and phone. They truly took my issue and resolved it so fast. The changes were impressive. They followed up... read more
