Whenever I wear my glasses from Glimpse (tennis ball green aviators for every day wear), everyone always asks about them. I've also had them for four years and they look like the first day, the color has never worn off. Even better is the customer service that you don't get with chains eyeglass stores. Could not recommend more.
Glimpse Vision in the Gold Coast is the place we chose for vision services when we moved to Chicago last year. We have been very pleased with our exams, the selection of eyewear, and the friendly, helpful and professional service we have received from Leslie, Boyce and Dr. Roitstein. A pleasure doing business with them.
As one who is incredibly hard on my glasses I recently found myself in a predicament having broken both pairs of glasses I had on hand while waiting for newly ordered glasses to arrive. On the recommendation of a friend, I contacted Boyce for possible repair. As I had snapped off one temple from the hinge, it was not a simple missing screw repair. Came to Glimpse Vision for an eye exam with Dr. Roitstein. She was thorough, explained everything clearly and was very patient. In addition to the exam, she walked me through the selection of frames and helped me pick a few that I really liked. Boyce was very helpful with narrowing down my favorites and picking the perfect pair by talking about how’d they’d fit in my work setting and with my typical wardrobe.
