Our property insurance company decided that our concrete sidewalk was a trip hazard and required us to get it leveled out. Tahir came, we talked, and today Tahir and his team repaired it, enlarging our 2 tree beds as well. They did a really beautiful job. Worked neatly, added topsoil and mulch to the renewed tree beds and even rinsed down the cars nearby which got dusty from the cement work. It was reasonably priced and I will definitely use them for future needs. Highly recommended.
They are a bunch of unprofessional rude a**holses. They know nothing about construction or safety. They work 15 minutes in every hour only, and spend the rest of it talking on the phone and singing songs in Arabic. They were peeping in people's windows and perving on my girlfriend, when were caught doing so, even had the nerve to wave to her. They create unholy amounts of dust and noise and refuse to clean up after themselves. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT take your business there.
I have used Glenwood Construction in the past for water coming into the house from the roof causing major damage. Tahir and his crew located the problem immediately and gave me fair pricing. I have not had a problem since. This year, I did not hesitate to contact them again for the cosmetic beautification of my backyard. They are knowledgeable and experienced tradesmen who show up on time with no hidden surprises. Great prices for excellent quality!
Our sidewalk had a serious situation. We reviewed several companies and chose Glenwood Construction. We contacted Tahir and he came that afternoon. He spent time explaining to us what had to be done and spent time answering any questions we had. The workers came on time, knew what had to be done and began working immediately. We have been using Glenwood Construction for eight years.Tahir and his company have always done a great job. This past summer, they made my dilapitated yard into an outdoor living space. From new concrete,fence and water proofing my house. Fabulous job!
Glenwood Construction is a keeper! Tahir is a very affable and professional young man. They did a lot of work for us and most recently did our sidewalk. They showed up on time, did a superb job and by the end of the day, the site was clean and beautiful. It is not easy to find good , honest contractors now a days , Glenwood Construction is one of the few.
I recently contracted Glenwood Construction for a major renovation to the exterior (front) of my home. A quick summary...the best choice I could have made! It was absolutely a pleasure working with Tahir in the planning and designing of the renovation. Everyone from the masons to the carpenters were excellent! From the very start, you could see the communication, promptness, flexibility and attention to detail would (and was) great. Hire with confidence!

I googled for roofing companies near Forest hills , Queens. I saw reviews for Glenwood and called Glenwood Construction on 12/07/2013 around 9:30, A gentlemen by the name of Tahir answered the phone. Made a commitment to showing up between 2-3 PM same day. His crew was right on time, they went straight to work , identified the problem on the roof, located the leak and resolved the issue by putting flashing.
