I have been here twice. I have refused to go here multiple times due to the things that have happened. When I first came to this hospital I was 14. Staff were helping minor patients communicate romantically through notes helping passing them from the girls and boys units. They knew stuff was happening between the patients and did nothing. This place needs to be shutdown. It does not help the struggling people. The staff could care less about your mentally struggling child. This place is very disorganized, unprofessional, and not helpful at all. I came here to get help and the first thing they did was cold turkey my medications. I went through withdrawals. Next, the staff were inattentive to the safety needs of the unit. There were multiple times I found a male patient in my bed waiting for me and even at night one time a patient entered my room. I honestly don’t even know where to start and I was only there 3 days. My very first day one of the techs, his name is Will was doing our 15 minute checks so I seen him often told me to make sure I give him my phone number before I got out. Keep in mind I’m severely struggling and at my rock bottom. I report this immediately and was moved to a different unit. Hello I have read alot of bad things and was calling on Monday to come in patient to get some help with anger issues, ocd,anxiety, trauma and depression but now im worried its not a good place because of the views I have read. How long is inpatient for?
My granddaughter was there, the staff was rude and not really concerned. I called and left a message for my granddaughter to call me, the nurse said she would have her call me right back. The next day when my granddaughter called she wasn't even aware I had returned her call. In less than 24 hours they wanted to start her on two different medications with no diagnosis and no real reason.
