This is an awful company. They roughed in a claw foot tub and located the drain 5 inches wrong! I have tile laid and now the tub filler barely clears the rim of the tub. Buyer beware!
This company charged me $325 for replacing a cartridge in a **** faucet. In my opinion, they are a rip off company and I will never hire them again. I have checked with other plumbing companies for the same repair and this company charged me over twice the amount quoted by other companies. Buyer beware!!
I was quoted $265 service and was charged $475 and nothing was repaired. He just gave a quote of over $2000 to replace a sub pump, I have a home warranty and he said he would sent a quote and get the company to replace as much as he could, and they denied this quote, and now I am out the $475 for nothing, he did absolutely nothing to fix my sub pump, and I still have it leaking, its been almost a month now. Called Glenrose about hot water tank and when they arrived requested a couple of faucet repairs and a faucet replacement (which I had already purchased). Was given a lump-sum 'quote' that yes I agreed too. As the installation of tank was taking place, and repairs being done, i began to question things given what I was seeing and hearing from installer. Hired Glenrose Plumbing to install a new kitchen faucet. Service tech was very polite and courteous. However, he damaged a component of the faucet which caused it to leak. When we called to have him back out, he wouldn’t even look at the faucet. He actually stated that “there’s never any problems with my work.” Said we need to contact Moen for a replacement part and just shut the water off. Bruce bought wrong part for leaky tub faucet so he had cut hole in the wall by the back entry, for nothing as it happened, since part needed had been discontinued & then charged me for it. Also had this plumber install new water heater(wanted to give 'em a 2ND chance) and after 3 weeks & 2 visits, which included replacing bottom element, company employee discovered water heater had been hooked up backwards! Although I am sympathetic to some level of frustration due to a job that did not go smoothly, I would like to clarify a few items. Glenrose was called out to repair a leaking tub faucet. An access hole was required for diagnosis and repair, which the customer approved prior to work being performed. Upon entry to the wall and visual examination of the problem, it became apparent that the part needed for repair had been discontinued.
