I went to Dr. G. Jelks for blepharoplasty several years ago, but while talking about the surgery I told him I had lots of stress between my eyebrows - something one normally gets botox for. HE suggested that he could cut the muscle at the front of each eyebrow and that would take away the stress. He NEVER told me that would cause those clipped muscles to roll up like window shades and leave scars - actually valleys - in my forehead. Dr Jelks is amazing. I have had 5 procedures with him, mostly fat transfer and liposuction, but my first session was to repair eyelids that had not healed properly when done with another Plastic Surgeon. They are perfect now. Another procedure to remove Fat from my upper abdomen below the breast is a surgery that most MDS will not touch, but he liposuctioned the area and it is now gone. I would without hesitation recommend him to anyone. I am a very precise and picky chooser of MDs; high praise!
My dermatologist recommended Dr. Jelks for my eye surgery because he is not only Board certified in plastic surgery, but also in opthalmology. Additionally, his wife, Elizabeth Jelks, works in the office and is also an ophthalmologist. Both doctors are extremely kind, easy to talk to, explain everything thoroughly, and are available for questions. Dr. Jelks' staff is also very supportive and knowledgeable about the procedures. Best part: my eyes look fabulous, thanks to Dr. Jelks!

I have seen Dr. Jelks for years. His office over the past years has increasingly had staff turnover both doctors, nurses, and admin staff. With the departure of the last Manger it is now highly unprofessional and chaotic. Staff are often confused as to why the patient is in the office, misplacing medical records and forgetting essential treatment plans. Dr. Jelks often appears fatigued, confused, wandering between treatment rooms and his back office. He is often defensive, vague, and forgetful.
Dr. Jelks was recommended to me by a world renown plastic surgeon I went to for a rhino plastery after several breakages. I arrived for a consult for upper and lower eye surgery and was highly impressed by the thorough exam given to me and by the expertise of both Dr. Elizabeth Jelks and of Dr. Glenn Jelks. Drs. Jelks are clear, precise and extremely easy to speak with, and I later found out he is a pioneer in the field. I am looking forward to my upcoming surgery and will post a follow up.

Dr. Jelks is fantastic. I am 9 days post mini lift with fat transfer. Minimal bruising. Looks great already! Dr. Jelks carefully explained the procedure, answered all of my questions and emphasized his approach: "you but refreshed and polished." Office staff and nurses were very helpful and professional. The anesthesiologist called the day before to go over my background and answer any questions. OR is comfortable and private. I have complete trust in Dr. Jelks and his caring staff.
