The management has definitely gone downhill. Melissa, who took over the canterbury court apartment management is incompetent and unresponsive. Maintenance seems constantly overworked, and poor management has led me to look for rentals elsewhere. Any contractors they hire are the absolute bottom dollar. They have some gems, and some units are nice, but be warned you will probably have to put up with almost "slum lord" behavior. *Note the previous manager Eric was much better.*
I first found Glendale a few years ago when I was moving out on my own for the first time with no roommates. At the time, it seemed intimidating, but Glendale really made the process easy and welcoming with their great communication. After renting from them, I can surely say that it has been a lovely experience and I would recommend them to any young professional looking for a good spot to live. this company is an actual joke, do not interact with them in any way. i’m convinced they hire property managers off the street.
do not do business with this company. they allow fraudulent transactions by their tenants&employees. they charged my military family who’s already in need due to the shutdown $1,000 and some change and didn’t bother to investigate. We called our bank and cancelled the card but this behavior is still unacceptable!!! we dont even reside in NY or ever been. We are from illinois!
