Very seamless move-in process. Staff provides excellent guidance. Area is extremely quiet. Plenty of off-street parking spots for all residents.
After over 5 years at living at the Windsor property, managed by Glendale, I can say the following with great confidence: Management of the properties is absolutely terrible; they are inconsistent and there is constant turnover. If you call and ask to speak with the manager they will never be available and will never call you back. They fail to fix various problems that are reported multiple times, while also expecting to be able to enter your apartment unannounced and without and notice. After living here for five years, my experience ended with what I believe was unfair and targeted treatment from both certain tenants and management. Rather than objectively investigating repeated complaints, management seemed to accept accusations at face value without providing evidence supporting the accusations, ignoring the evidence that was provided by myself (former tenant) and failed in giving me a meaningful opportunity to address the concerns. I scheduled a viewing for Lincoln Park Duplexes and then completed an online application through Glendale Communities. Before accepting my application fee, the company had access to my income information, credit information, and household details. After submitting everything, I was told my application could not be completed because there was another adult over 18 in my household who also needed to apply. The management has definitely gone downhill. Melissa, who took over the canterbury court apartment management is incompetent and unresponsive. Maintenance seems constantly overworked, and poor management has led me to look for rentals elsewhere. Any contractors they hire are the absolute bottom dollar. They have some gems, and some units are nice, but be warned you will probably have to put up with almost "slum lord" behavior. *Note the previous manager Eric was much better.*
