We recently took our 2.5 year old to the urgent care because she was inconsolable and saying her ear hurt. Everyone from the registration, intake nurse, rooming nurse, and provider made this an exceptional experience. All staff were extremely patient and kind to my daughter and I. From the stickers, juice, popsicle, and even a little teddy bear we were very well taken care of! I have pretty much always had a good experience here. The staff is nice and friendly and helpful. They understand my disability and are careful with me.
My elderly parent is a life long patient at Glencoe. I am absolutely appalled at how she is currently being treated. She has been doctoring with an injured hip and back. Has had surgery for back pain also. She has previously seen the pain doctor who poked and prodded her with injections and ablation that did nothing help. She is doing therapy that is painful and doesn’t help. She called the clinic to ask for medication to help with her pain and was told “ they don’t hand out pills”!
