My elderly parent is a life long patient at Glencoe. I am absolutely appalled at how she is currently being treated. She has been doctoring with an injured hip and back. Has had surgery for back pain also. She has previously seen the pain doctor who poked and prodded her with injections and ablation that did nothing help. She is doing therapy that is painful and doesn’t help. She called the clinic to ask for medication to help with her pain and was told “ they don’t hand out pills”! The care I’ve received from the Glencoe R. H. has been absolutely phenomenal, I’ve been to the ER several times for serious injuries, The care, nurses and doctors are excellent. I’m a Disabled Veteran and needed to stay closer to my home and have already experienced their care and professionalism. I’m now working with Dr. Joslin Thiemann, in the pain clinic. Dr.Thiemann has helped me with my PTSD symptoms and now my lower back, hip and leg pain.

Very disappointed with the care that my father received at GRHS. After months of treatment and sending him home, he became worse. Took him to another hospital and the care he received there was 100x better. He had to be admitted, have surgery, and treated with heavy antibiotics that Glencoe missed! He was diagnosed with MRSA that Glencoe never told us or treated him for!!! If he wasn't brought to the other hospital, I firmly believe I'd be planning his funeral. SHAMEFUL!
