Waterfalls, very diverse paths. paths were a bit muddy today. but the babbling creeks and falling snow made it very peaceful.
Business response:
Thanks for visiting!
Great place to spot nature. Long trails. The report center is an amazing example of earthlings helping each other
My husband and I visited today at the outdoor rapture center and I just fell in love! I only wish I could see these guys everyday! We donated and the $5 parking is nothing compared to what they are doing to help these raptors.

Thanks for visiting!
I brought my niece and nephew to the Raptor Center. They are on virtual learning because of Covid, and I’m looking for outdoor educational activities! We went on a nice hike, saw The Yellow Spring, identified different trees, and visited the raptors. Perfect day:)
Visited Glen Helen, my favorite hiking spot, after seven years living out of state. It was a very disappointing experience. Parking now costs $5. I was told that this is due to GH's state as a non-profit, but the Glen has never been a for-profit business, so I found this explanation unsatisfactory. Business response:
Matthew, sorry you had a disappointing experience. There has been a parking fee at Glen Helen for several years. (Glen Helen members park free year-round). Because Glen Helen is a privately owned nature center of 1100 acres that has required revenue for maintaining staff, trails, educational programs and a Raptor rehabilitation center, it is critical revenue that helps us support those operations and keep the Glen safely open to increasing amounts of visitors. In terms of COVID-19, we ask that visitors carry a mask with them... read more
A gorgeous first visit to the nature reserve! People were responsible, masked and social distanced. The weather was perfect and the scenery spectacular.
Always a great hike at the Glen!
Glen Helen is an amazing place to spend a few hours hiking in the woods. It is a wonderful and peaceful place. The preserve has several very nice natural features from streams and a waterfalls to a natural spring and a pine forest. The main trails are well maintained. A copy of the preserve map is helpful. There is signage in several places that point to trails that lead back to the parking area. There is a fee of $5.00 to park in the nature preserve parking area. You can pay with cash or with a QR code on your phone.
beautiful! filled with rich history
