I lived here and will say that there is a lot of good and bad here. First the good; it's quiet, it's currently reasonable priced, they seem to be doing some upgrades. They do allow pets. Maintenance is responsive. Now the bad; rent increased every year I was there which made me consider moving to a nicer neighborhood for the same cost. They limit you to two vehicles in the parking lot. The shared laundry facilities are often broken. 1 STAR — ZERO STARS IF GOOGLE ALLOWED IT. Glencroft Club Apartments was hands down the most disgusting, stressful, and unprofessional rental experience I have ever had. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Management REQUIRED me to pay my rent by cashier’s check, then somehow claimed they “didn’t receive” TWO MONTHS of my rent and SUED ME. I rarely leave negative reviews, but after our experience living here for 12 months, I feel like people deserve to know what they're signing up for. During our one-year lease, we experienced four separate leaks, with the first one taking months to be repaired. During that time, the damage was so extensive that we had to sleep in our living room because our bedroom was unusable. I am a current resident of Glencroft Club Apartments, and my experience has been extremely frustrating. Management claimed they never received a month’s rent that I paid via cashier’s check. Instead of notifying me about any alleged issue, they filed a lawsuit. After my bank conducted an investigation, the bank was able to provide evidence that the cashier’s check had in fact been deposited by the landlord at a Lakewood branch, despite prior statements that suggested otherwise. A nice location with affordable rent option. Regional rail is in walking distance which makes this place a desirable residential location. Management is responsive, and they upgraded the kitchen and floor after a formal request. The only problem is the elevator; it is old and needs repair constantly.
