I rarely leave negative reviews, but after our experience living here for 12 months, I feel like people deserve to know what they're signing up for. During our one-year lease, we experienced four separate leaks, with the first one taking months to be repaired. During that time, the damage was so extensive that we had to sleep in our living room because our bedroom was unusable. I am a current resident of Glencroft Club Apartments, and my experience has been extremely frustrating. Management claimed they never received a month’s rent that I paid via cashier’s check. Instead of notifying me about any alleged issue, they filed a lawsuit. After my bank conducted an investigation, the bank was able to provide evidence that the cashier’s check had in fact been deposited by the landlord at a Lakewood branch, despite prior statements that suggested otherwise. A nice location with affordable rent option. Regional rail is in walking distance which makes this place a desirable residential location. Management is responsive, and they upgraded the kitchen and floor after a formal request. The only problem is the elevator; it is old and needs repair constantly.
