I usually don’t write reviews, but passing thru Aliquippa on my way back to Ohio, I stopped at Glatz Jewelers, as I needed a gift for a family member. I found the store to be a real gem. The range of items was exceptionable. The place was well stocked and diverse, with very affordable to high-end items. The staff was knowledgeable and not overbearing. In an age of national chains, it was nice to discover Glatz Jewelers; a family owned company. I was greeted upon entering the store and people were actually smiling. The store was very active. I needed to get a piece of jewelry repaired and Tom (Glatz) was extremely knowledgable, professional, creative and talented. I took 2 pieces of jewelry into his business to possibly sell. I got a quote in writing and needed a few minutes to think about it. I went out to my car to call a friend who has more knowledge than me and she said yes to one items quote and definately not to the other. So I went back in and was told no that quote isn't true and they would not give me that number. I bought my wife's wedding rings at this store, but ever since I got them we have had nothing but problems, in 2yrs I have had to take her rings back cause they keep turning colors, Every time I take the rings in to get fixed, I am told that there will be no charge, but when I go to pick up the rings there is aways a charge.
