Mel is the glass whisperer and a great Instructor in both fused and stained glass. I have enjoyed so many awesome classes at Glasstronomy in varying ranges of depths & complexity - with their 4 day Summer Camps being among my top favs. Mel & Elizabeth plan long & hard for the camp testing out every aspect of their design before Mel puts us to the task. Melanie ran a week-long program for our summer camp working in fused glass. The campers enjoyed the classes and the creative process very much. They were each able to channel their creativity to create unique takes on the same project as they learned some of the technical skills in working with glass. It is clear that Melanie loves to share and teach about glass art to the next generation. First time doing stained glass but my 3ird time working with glass. First time here at this studio. Had a great experience! Even as a beginner, was able to finish the maple least within the 6 hours. Will definitely be coming back some other time for other workshops!
