I've had Dr. S. Glassman do approx 7 crowns and one root canal. Prior to 2000, he was a good dentist but has become quite rude, uncaring, no-chair side manners, will slap your face to relax your jaw, very impatient, cut my cheeks with the drill and never apologize, when I brought it up, he said "don't worry it will heal", no apologies. You will have the courtesy of a returned call but be prepared for the high cost.
I have had cavities replaced with composites and have had Invisalign done by the doctor. The doctors are both very cordial and wonderfully caring. No pain and my teeth are great. The front desk people are super lovely and make you feel like family.
Dr. Glassman is probably one of the most competent and professional dentists I've seen. His office has done regular care for me for a number of years now, and his staff is uniformly friendly and always in good cheer. My dental hygienist was competent, efficient and stress free. Dr. Glassman himself did two fillings for me using some pretty impressive technology -- he used some kind of laser that didn't require any anesthesia at all, no Novocaine, nothing, and it was totally painless. Dr Glassman is one of the nest orthodontists in new york. he is trusted by many celebreties and rightly so. My treatment with invisalign took 8 months and finally gave me the look I have always dreamed of. He also uses the latest technology to treat his patients - for example, my first (free) consultation began with him taking photographs with a zoom lens. he then projected that image on to a large screen monitor and explained to me exactly what the problem was and what he would do about it. all through the treatment that fo... read more
I just wanted to thank Dr. Glassman for an amazing experience. The office staff was extremely friendly and I felt extremely comfortable there. My regular dentist does not do alot of cosmetic work and I went to Dr. Glassman to whiten my teeth. I got Zoom whitening at his office and got great results. If I ever decide to get veneers down the road I will definitely bee seeing the Glassman's the before and afters were incredible. I had many problems with my previous veneers and crowns. I did not like to smile and it was effecting my self esteem. Dr. Glassman spent a lot of time with me and we decided that 4 veneers and 2 all porcelian crowns would give my the smile I was dreaming of. Well, he was totaly right. The crowns and veneers look fantastic. I can't stop smiling. I hope to be able to afford to fix my lower teeth real soon. I would highly recommend Dr. Glassman. Tom M.
Dr. Steve Glassman put veneers on my two front teeth. They look so awful that I am going to have another dentist re-do them. I know that I have an extremely hard dental problem to fix. My teeth were darkened due to injury. The veneers look fake and rabbity. They are too bright and bulky. I keep my mouth closed because they look so bad. Making a discolored front tooth look natural next to the other teeth is very challenging. In my opinion, Dr. Glassman is not skilled enough to meet this challenge.
