I was here some years ago as a worker and I just couldn't catch on. The workers would watch me waiting for me to mess up and I was made fun of and taunted. I probably was somewhat immature and inexperienced back then but prior before my shift I used to always sweat profusely like my body knew I was gonna have to go thru some rigorous endeavors trying to obtain my composure in a trenches environment. Work for the company almost 3 months. Expect more out of the hard workers an just let's the slackers off. They don't let you leave the property at all and don't think about going to your car. No smoking allowed. Shifts are usually from 5am to 6pm with a 30 min break whenever they feel like allowing you to go. Had to take off a week during Thanksgiving to get my daughter an they said to bad when I told them it wasn't optional I was going 3 days after I return they let me go. Worst company to ever work for.

GMC is a decent job if you have no experience and looking to collect a check. Experienced people should apply elsewhere.Some of the cons are the inconsistent hours.They offer a bonus for safety and attendance but frequently alter schedules and make it hard to qualify.Training is minimal and as a result Customer orders are constantly sent back due to poor quality.They Also have a "Personal Expectation Program" that they offer to select employees that seems unethical.
