I took a 2022 kia sorento in for a sunroof replacement because the movable part shattered. After having it for 3 weeks and us calling multiple times for a status update we were finally told that insurance wasn't approving repairs. Insurance wasn't approving because glass doctor wouldn't send pics of damage so after I sent pics a whole sunroof was approved. Absolutely terrible customer service. I took a 2017 Subaru legacy in for a front windshield replacement it also has active lane assistance so with replacement of the windshield requires the cameras to be re-calibrated . After receiving the vehicle the cameras did not work properly and where intermittent at best , there was a giant scratch on the hood of the car , the windage tray that surrounds the wiper blades didn’t have any mounting hardware to secure the panel down , the windshield wipers also wouldn’t spray due to the h... read more
Worst experience ever. Had windshield replaced and they couldnt get the side moldings fastened. They didnt know what that were doing. The said these are "tricky". 3 times they redid the moldings and i still had someone else fix it right. One of the times it actually blew off the car. That whole area was exposed all winter to the weather. While they were removing the excessive amount of glue they applied, they ripped off my paint. Then they claimed it could have been rust. RecommendedI have used both drive in and mobile services. Very pleased with Terry and Haley’s service in both instances.
Felt like they were very thorough with my windshield to make sure no more damage occurred to the new windshield. Waited for my car. Seemed really busy for awhile, I forgot about the holiday weekend so they were working with less staff. Kept a going!
I called Glass Doctor to repair a chip in my windshield. I said we are socially distancing due to our child being medically fragile. I asked for no contact and paid over the phone. when the technician showed up with no gloves our a mask on he started to get in my truck. I urgently and emphatically said stop or something more do not get in. He said he had to get in to get it done. This is not an option for us. ****************************************** They refused to refund the money. They deserve negative stars.
Technician was friendly and efficient. Service was affordable.
I had a tough windshield fix and Glass Doctor came through and saved my windshield. Very fair with the replacement estimate. I will remember them next time I have a glass issue. Joe G
