I made an appointment and had no wait time before being seen. Checked in, had my exam, selected my new frames and was out in just under 40 minutes. Excellent customer service and very helpful employees.

I’ve been wearing glasses since I was in the 5th grade and I’m 51 years old now . This is the first time I’ve gotten lenses from America’s Best and they are horrible! My lens got so scratched so fast . They are so bad it has effected my vision now . We payed $300 plus for lenses from my regular and sunglasses. I got something called HD no line bifocals. We called to see about a warranty and we were told there wasn’t any . These lenses cost so much ! They are horrible! I will never come back or recommend anyone . I brought in... read more

First of all, I got pinkeye at the New Braunfels location, so you know they couldn't have been sanitizing properly - in the middle of a global pandemic no less. There were 20 people in the show room at close proximity. The ink on the stickers on the frames didn't run and people kept putting them back on the shelves. I also wish I could leave them a message that I am COVID positive as of 3 days after my visit, but I guess their corporate structure a) doesn't allow for...message machines and b) doesn't have a system in place f... read more

Have to say we are very disappointed. Last year we went into Americas Best to get glasses. We have insurance and thought we could get a deal. With the commercials its seems like a good deal, but if you need bifocals deals off. Plus protection for lenses and anti glare. It ended up that we were going to pay a almost $1,000 for two pair of glasses. After all that. A year later. I’m using cheap reader glasses from Walmart that at least stay on my head and are much more durable. Optical insurance is really not worth the expense ... read more
