We absolutely loved our stay at GLAMP Smoky Mountains by Stay Minty in Cosby, TN! This was one of the most unique glamping experiences we’ve had and such a fun way to experience the Great Smoky Mountains without giving up the comforts of home. The dome was spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed — a comfortable king bed, private bathroom, full kitchen, AC, and even a projector for a cozy movie night. We loved everything about our glamping experience with Stay Minty. Our dome was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Overall our stay was okay. For the price it was good. Very secluded, but decently located near Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Things to note: outside deck and door to the dome need repair. When deck was wet it was very slippery and almost fell twice. Door was not fully sealed and after a rainstorm the entrance floor was soaked with water. If you want to disconnect…this is the place. Long review to address previous concerns in one place. We stayed at the Smokies domes in Cosby — Dome 4, The Interstellar. I read the reviews and was nervous, but here’s the real situation: it’s great! Tip from another reviewer that I agree with: while you still have signal on the main roads, screengrab your door code and WiFi info. It helped me text/email management when my door code didn’t match what I was given at check-in. Within 30 minutes it was resolved. My family and I stayed in the lodge for one week and had a wonderful time. It has 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, 2 kitchens and a large back porch that overlooks the back yard and creek. It is in a peaceful location about 18 miles from Gatlinburg. Our grandkids loved it. I would love to stay here again sometime. Thank-you for everything.
