Started quilting in 1984 and Glad Creations was my favorite shop. Remember taking classes there and also a group quilt basting event. About 8 quilters took turns laying our quilts out on large tables and we all pin basted them. In no time they were all done. Great fun and no sore backs or knees :) Moved away, and still miss it.
Glad creations is not just the only quilt shop in south Minneapolis, they pack so much into their space and they have classes. The ladies there are always willing to hear about your project and have a wealth of knowledge with all kinds of tips and tricks!

Loved finding a neighborhood quilt shop in Minneapolis!! There was so many great things! My favorite thing is the wall of batiks! But the women who work there are fabulous!
Glad Creation was the last stop on our Metro Section shop hop today. The shop in was VERY busy but Christine took the time to not only give me advice about the quilt I wanted to make, she led me to the shelf, suggested the best shades of the colors I wanted, then cut the yardage and rung me up. I was so happy to finally have the project begun! Thank you for your help today Christine. You were so busy and yet you took the time to go above and beyond! Thank you!
