Dirty floors, dirty bathroom, dirty tables. We ordered the lasagna and antipasta. We got half the lasagna you get at the Original and it was paste like with a sprinkle of meat. The antipasta is also not like the Orginal in Gardenia, missing flavor and was smaller. The breadsticks were rock hard and the buns so dry you could crumble them. We threw it all out and went to Panda Express because we were already so hungry. Save yourself shocking disappointment this is not like The Original Giuliano's AT ALL!
Just purchased a couple of sfogiatelle to have with coffee and I’m most disappointed. The girl at the counter was very courteous and service was good but coming home to what is frankly one of the worst pastries I’ve tried in a long time is frustrating. The dough is impossibly chewy (old?) and it has a rare “detergent” kinda after-taste. Filling just not ideal either. I’ve tried other sweets and they were ok, but lesson learned, will probably just buy some canned-good only next time, if there is one.
Guilianos used to be family owned and were very good. Apparently the Torrance location is not part of that. Their food is awful compared to the Gardena location. The staff was not friendly either. I ordered the marinated mushrooms at the Torrance location. I took one bite and spit it out. The seasonings and marinade were not good, there was nothing Italian about the flavor. I will only be ordering from the Gardena location from now on. They are friendly, helpful and the food is great! They are NOT the same!
Very well priced , good portions and really good food.
