We were able to get a camp site a couple weeks before our stay - all other campgrounds were sold out. Jeffrey was very nice and brought us to our camp site. He also helped us with our septic which we dumped right at our site . Nice drive through camp sites. Jeffrey was always available on his phone when we had a question.
We stayed here for 3 nights and wish it was 1 night. What a complete disappointment. The water hookups must be from a ground well and even with a water filter came out brown, smelling gross, tasting horrible and even stained out toilet rust from the minerals. I cannot get the stain out. The park is very dusty, dirty and not maintained very well. Showers are dark, dirty with primitive faucets. What's crazy is they charge $115/night. Can't say enough great things about our stay and the incredibly kind people that run this campgound! You can tell they genuinely want you to have a wonderful vacation. The cabin was very comfortable, super cute, and amenities were well thought out. The location was fantastic being right across a nice public beach on Lake Superior. The brewery on site was a great place to relax and have a delicious IPA, and play some pool. It is absolutely beautiful out here! The owners were incredibly patient and kind. The campground has a beautiful bar area and outside there are neat water features. Any time I come out here again, I'll be using their campground
When booking it was advertised as a great place to be for families, fudge shop, gift shop, Rock hunting, no fudge shop, no gift shop and no rocks at the beach across the street, DO NOT waster your money here!!!! They charge $100/night you are better off staying at the casino just down the road for $45 with better facilities, so disappointed in this place and if we could get a refund we would go to the casino but we are stuck here with nothing to do for kids, definitely do not recommend!!!!
