The Girl next door needs an attitude adjustment – I use to go to this store all the time when it was on 5th and Lamar area (by Jackson Ruiz) and I loved it. The clothes were great and the girls were so nice and helpful. I would spend $300 on a top and wouldn't regret it because I felt it was unique and I was really sold on it. Never again – I went in to find a summer dress and asked the sales girl for help, which ended up being the owner. She was no help! She suggested two dresses, both of which were tacky and not what I asked for. Not to mention that when I tried them on and they both looked terrible, she proceeded to lie to my face and tell me they looked "cute." Found what I was looking for at Estilo instead. If I had to hear they word cute again and the endless cries of a baby in the background, I would have gone mad!

This is it! – I'm from San Francisco, and when I came to Austin for good shopping, I fell in love with Girl Next Door. I'ts obvious that the buyers know and love their business becuase the clothes are different and chic. I had gracious assistance in finding some pieces that I had to have, even though I am not a size 2 nor am I rich. I have received MANY compliments on my clothes back here in California and I will make it a point to shop at GND next time I visit Austin.
Best shopping in Austin!!! – Girl Next Door has the best selection of women's clothes in Austin! They carry all of the same brands and styles that you would typically have to go to LA or New York to get all right here in Austin! I always find exactly what I am looking for when I go there and Koshla and Toni can put together an outfit for any occasion! Don't waste time anywhere else, go to Girl Next Door first!!!
What a great store! – I'm new to Austin (from California) and I just found Girl Next Door. What a wonderful boutique! They have some of the best clothes and the latest styles I have seen. Great selection of denim and wonderful tops and dresses from some of my favorite designers like Ya-Ya, Jak & Rae, and Mason. They happen to be running a "Happy Hour" whicj is actually an all day event. I saved 30% and I had a couple of mimosas! Overall a great shopping experience. I highly reccomend it.
super shoppin' opp – My new fave store! Cute clothes, pink walls...and the best denim selection in town! Stopped in to browse and somehow walked out with fat bag of clothes...eeek! I can never find jeans to fit (6 feet and then some) and walked out with TWO (count em: 2) pairs that were not only long enough but make my butt rock...per my boyfriend:) Salesgirl helped me for almost an hour and was nice enough to bring me like a million pairs of jeans...but it was worth it! No customer service! – I'll make this short and too the point....I walked in and looked through every rack in the stoor and left. No one during that time greeted me, asked me if I needed help, or said good-bye as I was leaving. I'll never return to Girl Next Door.
