Our first time dining here. We were pleasantly surprised with the welcoming atmosphere and the live music (it was a friday night). The staff was great and everyone was having a good time. The pizza was very good - we especially enjoyed the fresh basil on top :) If there is one thing I could recommend it was with respect to the Affogato dessert (vanilla ice cream and espresso). Great atmosphere and freshly made pizzas and other delicious food, not to mention wonderful hosts, make this restaurant a true gem worth visiting.
Girasole is my favorite place to go to in St. John's on a Friday or Saturday night. It's such a cozy warm environment and their live jazz is not to be missed. The staff is always smiling and honestly friendly :) The owners are a delight to see and be around. The pizza is OK but this place is a glorified playpen for screaming, tantruming, undisciplined children.
This place is pretty great! Hand made pizzas and desserts. Noms! Great vibe and live music Friday and Saturdays.
