To the hostess that treated my wife and I like we were invisible and prepared to seat the couple behind us in line instead of us —- I took my invisible money to Ali’s Bistro instead.
We used to love Giovannis because they WERE one of the few Italian restaurants with good Gluten-Free pasta. But, they changed and are trying to pass off vegetable shreddings as Gluten-Free pasta. Vegetables shreddings are not pasta! We will never be back and will tell everyone to stay away.
We had dinner here last night with another couple. Food and drinks were really good. I was especially impressed with the staff. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. Our server was awesome! We will definitely be back.
Last weekend, we had our daughter’s wedding reception at Giovanni’s One89. I was planning this from Ohio, sight unseen. I was a little apprehensive, but Jamie was wonderful to work with and patiently answered all my questions. It turns out I had nothing to worry about - everything was PERFECT! The food was delicious and we are still talking about it a week later. The service was top notch- we could not have asked for anything better. Thanks again to Jamie and staff. Bravo! 5 stars
We recently had our wedding at Giovanni’s one89 and I cannot say enough about how amazing Jamie and her staff are. Jamie was always available to answer any questions that we had. We had to up our guest list within a week of the wedding and Jamie was more than willing to accommodate our last minute needs. Her staff was very friendly and did an amazing job. Food was amazing! We ordered bruschetta for the appetizer and it was so good we ordered a second one. I had the Penne Vodka and my husband had the spaghetti and meatballs. The portions were huge and everything was delicious. My husband and I have been trying to find more local spots when we come down and this is on the list.
