Great food, location and people. Definitely a "go to" place when visiting the area...
Amazing flavor!!! Shrimp scampi plate can't go wrong! They only accept cash! Parking is a bit of a pain in the butt, & there can be long lines of people waiting to order, but in the end it was well worth the wait! Make sure you bring "wet wipes" to wipe your garlic fingers after you devour the shrimp plate!
Texas & Louisiana folks skip it... you can prob make better yourself at home. Not hate or shade, just facts. Wait was long due to truck's popularity. Portion was plentiful; but seasoning was lacking, rice was bland & undercooked. Price was good. Wouldn't go out of my way to go back.
The best on the north shore, no, anywhere on the island, try the hotdog once you'll love it but get it with rice and sauce all over. Hot sauce on the side.
It was so good, we had to do it twice!!! If we ever get to Hawaii again, it will definitely be one of our stops! Mahalo!!!!
