Pasta or Steak If you want steak or pasta or both this would be your place to go. Everything is cooked to perfection and their service is great. Their pricing is well worth it for the quality of food and service. I highly recommend.
Good Food and Good Service After a long day of travel my colleague and I wanted some good Italian food and we referred to Gios. This was great choice the staff was friendly and very helpful when we asked for recommendations. The food was great!
Very poor food – This restaurant was recommended by a friend. I arrived and entered the decor is very old and needs an update. The main dining room is painted a dull yellow. I asked for wine by the glass and received a glass of house merlo which was not bad. The house salad had fresh tomato and lettuce maybe a pinch too much dressing. Shrimp cocktail good. horrible experience - never to return – Just had dinner at gio's with my wife and kids, the service was horrible two appetizers came out to us, wrong dish, took ten minutes to get the waiter back to make corrections( maybe they were short staffed ), but that's no excuse for the food they served us, of the four main dishes three were sub par. Best Restaurant Ever! – I moved down here from Philly two years ago. I was driving by the shopping center one day and decided to pop in and check it out. Gio's is by far, the best restaurant I have been to since my move. Whenever anyone comes down to visit me, I take them there. I never get tired of the beautiful enviornment, friendly, professional staff, and the exquisite dining. I would recomend this resuraunt to any and everyone!
Pretty restaurant with good food – My boyfriend has been wondering how this place is since it's in the mall next to his gym, etc...Very strange, unexpected place for a good restaurant. Upon entering, we were very impressed with the layout and decorating - it's actually lovely and romantic and very new. Great Local Italian Joint – This is a great surprise sitting in a strip mall on Dale Mabry. One of the chef's from Donatello is now cooking here and it shows! Awesome food, decent wine list and great service make Gio's a place not to be missed while in Tampa. For about half the price of Donatello with the same food and service. Enjoy!
