If I could I would rate nothing BEWARE… DO NOT USE EVER
No bedside manner. Dismissed endocrine problems. Went to another and he confirmed my medical problems. Contending with ego should not be a primary issue when assessing a serious medical diagnoses. The reviews are correct. He is both a poor dr and diagnostician with an offensive bedside manner.
My wife went to him with serious concerns - prediabetes, irregular periods, headaches, inexplicable weight gain. Not to mention the significant family history of brain tumors and type 2 diabetes. With her primary care provider they decided to start her on an injectable med, in which "Dr" Gioia told her she didn't need meds she needs gastric bypass.
