I stumbled upon this place a few years ago and love coming here since. Food is great and everyone is so pleasant and welcoming. The Montgomery Ribs are amazing!!
I live in Lansing, but visit and dine at Giniopolis in Farmington Hills on at least a quarterly basis when I attend a black arbitrator dinner meeting which is held there. Giniopolis provides a meeting room which will accommodate 20 people for our meeting at no charge beyond the meals individual members order a la carte. The food is pretty good for a bar and grill. Not the same as it use to be. Wait staff was scarce. Food was decent. Peter - still a super guy, very personable
This place has been around for years, but it is still as good as it always was. I've never had a bad meal here. Pete Ginopolis is probably the hardest working man in the restaurant business, and makes the rounds to ensure every customer is having a great experience. Check out the celebrity photos all over - they're amazing!
Such a nice and warm place to eat and staff is so friendly, we go one a month with our church group.
Last of the Old Style dining. I went to Ginopolis for the first time 24 hours ago. The establishment was a breath of fresh air from the usual litany of franchise blandness. I was greeted by the owner and found him to be a charming and classy proprietor. We were seated quickly in an upscale, yet casual environment. Service was good. Food was stellar. The Mongomery Inn style ribs lived up to their reputation. I will not hesitate to return and strongly endorse this establishment.
