Dr Kamboj is an excellent doctor who truly cares about her patients!
Dr Kamboj truly cares for me. I feel comfortable with her decisions and my care. Always!
I was referred to Dr Kamboj for treatment of breast cancer. I found her to be confusing and contradictory during visits and the treatment plan would change from visit to visit. She became defensive when questioned. She doesn’t use an Electronic Health Record and works very limited hours. I never saw her wash her hands and there were no sinks in the exam rooms. I never developed any confidence in her care and would not send anyone to her for cancer care.
It was a horrible experience. She was demeaning, condescending, and treated me and my family poorly. We decided to get a 2nd opinion and this doctor berated us for this. She doesn’t have adequate staff and does not answer any phone calls. It took 2-3 weeks to try to get an answer. And when we did, her response was “ I have patients that are dying and you think your question is more important?” I was a bit taken aback by the comment but noted that despite her response that at some point as a patient, I would appreciate a call... read more
Competent, compassionate took the time to help me and my family understand the diagnosis and treatment choices.
Dr Kamboj was late and when asked questions about the diagnosis became a bit dismissive and rude. She brushed off my diagnosis as infection. After seeing another physician in the area, the diagnosis and evaluation showed that I had a blood disorder and the testing proved it
Diagnosed with breast cancer and was suggested to see Dr Kamboj. Dr Kamboj was late, not friendly, and the appointment was rushed. The recommendation given for treatment differed with the opinions of our 2nd opinion with a university expert in Chicago. I’m glad my husband was insistent about having a 2nd opinion and I would like to voice our concern so that others don’t have the wrong medical recommendation/treatment
I would recommend not going to Dr Kamboj for care. She does not respect her patients time and has no motivation to help her patients. It can take WEEKS to get orders or notes or literally ANYTHING from her. It is very sad to see an oncologist who is supposed to help the most sick people be this inconsiderate. Having to deal with her through my moms treatment was a complete nightmare. In one of the hardest times in my families lives, she made it even worse. I didn't even think it could be worse b
Compassionate and caring... Takes care of the overall patient:)
