As my rent was raised $500 month, upon lease expiration we moved. Out of nearly $1600 in security, we received a little over $200 back. We cleaned the house thoroughly & were still charged for cleaning as well as for many other items! Form your own conclusions.....
The GINN property management company had managed newly constructed 19 unit townhomes in Vancouver, the manager is Erin Jaurigui. In conclusion, I would advise any property owner never have this company to manage their properties. I had to terminate the contract with them even with paying the penalty of a 3-month management fee because my property was ended up with a more than 25% vacancy rate however she claims that it is because my property is not in good quality. Say goodbye most or all of your deposit, even if you do everything right with the rental house. I paid $300 for yard work and $200 for a professional cleaning (this was not requested by Ginn, I did this on my own) right before I moved out, Ginn turned around and charged me $308 for extra yard work and another $265 for professional cleaning! Don’t expect to get your deposit regardless of how perfect you keep your place and no matter how kind they seem to you in person!!! I have been a tenant for 1 year and 7 months. Took care of place as if it were my own. We didn’t even hang photos so as to keep any damage to a minimum. Paid rent consistently and through covid and on time always. Never had complaints on us.
