Sad to see what has happened here. I don't know if the ownership changed or what? We used to enjoy the food and always thought the service was good. Last night there were basically no staff, they were out of wine and beer, food was just ok but took forever and our meals all came out at different times. I could hear the one girl who was doing everything trying to explain things to people and felt sorry for her. Too bad, we won't be back.
I've gone a few times before & service was alright. But today was definitely a "hell no". Waitress didn't know anything about the menu (what was available & what was not available). Her pretentious attitude was spot on, though. She didn't even bring waters before the appetizer and while waiting, all we heard was her chit-chatting with a coworker. Not a welcoming place at all!! I do not recommend this place to anyone.
This restaurant definitely used to be a 4/5 star but the last few times I have gone it has been horrible. Tonight was the last straw and I won’t be going back. Waited an hour for two rolls, they are constantly out of ingredients and have outdated specials posted that aren’t available. Tonight our food was burned to a crisp after waiting for over 50 minutes. I don’t know if they are under new management or what. I would not recommend coming here anymore. Definitely miss how the service and food used to be.
First visit today. Manager made some great recommendations. Sushi rolls and steamed dumplings were all excellent. Will definitely be back!
The owners of this business are horrible people who don't care about their employees. Don't pay them on time, when they finally do get paid, the checks bounce. They allow sexual harassment in their establishment and the list goes on. Very serious offenses happening in this location. Please do not support this business. If you stop there today, you will see there might not be a full staff because employees couldn't handle the miserable working conditions and were forced to quit. Super pricey, tired décor! I ordered a Scallop add on (only$4), no spices on it, initially over cooked (they remade them) but I'd expect some flavor-none to be found. No salt, pepper or even butter. I'd think they would pan sear or broil them for texture. I appreciated the waitress tried to make up for the Chef but just couldn't. I won't be back.
the sushi was FREAKING AMAZING!!! server seemed a little stuck up but it didn't ruin the experience. Great food.
Will never be going back. Sushi is sub par.. Customer service is flippin horrendous! Go to Izumi Sushi
