Unprofessional, and lied to us - fraudulent behaviour. My daughter recently required a simple cleaning that was fully covered by insurance. She clarified with the staff that nothing more was required that wasn’t fully covered. Gilmore Dental Centre charged her $160 extra that was not covered!! They lied and did not fully explain to her what the charges would be. Easy to do to a student that doesn’t have a job. Shame on you.
Dr.Amzar & the entire dental team @ Gilmour Dental are very friendly, professional and caring. Dr.Amzar’s approach to correcting my overbite with Invisalign was thoughtful, painless and effective with a shorter than expected timeline. I am beyond thrilled with my results.
I saw the nice reviews and decided to try them out. The hygienist who did my cleaning said she didn’t have enough time to finish it so I’d have to come back. I agreed cause I live nearby. I paid for a new patient exam + “3 unit of cleaning”, $663 for that. I came back later in the day for her to finish it. To my big surprise, they charged me for another $200, talking about “ooh she added 3 units of cleaning”. And of course it is only once it is done that I’m hearing about it! I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Amzar & the Gilmour team for my cleanings, x-rays, and most recently Invisalign procedure. Every step of the way this team has been caring, compassionate, patient, and knowledgeable, and their expertise has made every visit to the clinic a positive experience.
