We stayed a week at the Gilmore and we will be missing the friendly people there. The staff was always available for a chat and gave tips on what to see and how to best go about it. The location is absolutely unbeatable as you're close to all the restaurants and bars, and even all the tour providers are only a short walk away. Wonderful staff, friendly and accommodating. We were able to stow our luggage at hotel beforehand so we could walk about town unencumbered and then were able to check into room early. We were given vouchers for taxi rides to and from ferry docks, which was appreciated. Rooms were comfortable and clean.
The Gilmore Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The hotel is conveniently located with great views of the harbor, and a short walk to all of downtown Ketchikan.
Lovely place to stay. The staff is amazing. So helpful and friendly. I personally loved the sitting area between the main and second floor. A nice spot to sit, read, and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning.
This was the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at ever! Anthe and her son are an absolutely amazing hosts. Since we were here for my graduation at UAS, she wrote me a card congratulating me for my accomplishment. Side bar, Anthe saved my attendance graduation by contacting a relative who worked at UAS. All-around wonderful hotel! Whenever I come back to Ketchikan, I will be sure to return here.
