RecommendedIt's a great space to see all kinds of performances and sonetimes, even weekend movies during winter. I love walking into this old historic building to see a show, and escaping for a few hours.

Last night at the Tanya Tucker concert, the event staff impressed me. Even when rude guests continued getting closer to the stage and ignoring requests to return to their seats, the staff stayed calm and continued doing their jobs. One lady got closer to film a video, and when a staff member told her to go to her seat, she put her arm around him and filmed him getting on to her instead of listening. We had a terrible time there last night (2/21/2020)while attending the Tanya Tucker concert!! There was a female guard there that was basically harassing my daughter! And then because we were “singing too loud” at a freakin concert we were kicked out! We have never been to a concert where we weren’t allowed to sing, or dance, even talk for Pete’s sake! WORST CONCERT EXPERIENCE WE’VE HAD and they just lost as much business as I can help! We won’t be back, and we’re telling the world what they did to us!

i saw Bella Fleck, Beats Antique, and Yonder Mountain String Band at this theater. It's my favorite place to go see some live music in Springfield <3
The theater is beautiful , with many historic details. The balcony doesn't have much legroom, but seems very close to the stage. We'll go back!
