We eat at Gillian’s every year when we visit Destin.
Since we moved here a couple of years ago, we've been by Gilligan's and we're excited to try it on our date night... Well, never again. $8 a piece for a tiny cocktail that tasted like it came from a machine..seafood dip that was so overdone we had to cut through the top with a knife..food that would have to struggle to be mediocre and was dripping with grease..everything was an up charge also.. Great food! Great service!! Awesome patio!!! The server was very professional with us and all the tables around she was very busy but let every table know her rototation between us all. Great atmosphere with the people that was there and everyone seemed to be having a great time. We did!!! We be back next month!

We will never eat here again! We had the unpleasant experience of seeing a mouse run along one of the boards along the wall/ceiling beside our table. We called the waiter over to inform him, and he acknowledged he could still see the tail of the mouse in the corner. Not once did a manager appear to apologize for our experience nor any discount offered for our food after this experience. Was not sure what to think when we first went in. A line was waiting and the manager was working as hard and fast as he could. We got seated and he took our order. Food was great and atmosphere was nice and relaxing as we sat outside by the harbor. Very family friendly!! Will definitely be back.
