We first were referred to Dr Gilley after Hurricane Andrew in 1992 when both our dogs contacted heart worm. He treated and saved both of them. We have been faithful patients ever since. Dr Gilley has treated all our family pets now for 26 years - with kindness, compassion, and respect . I can't say enough to thank this DVM for helping us throughout the years to keep our family beloved pets happy and healthy and for being kind to us. In addition to being a great humanitarian, Dr Gilley does not price gouge his clients , does ... read more
Dr. Gilley, I've met him many times by the way, received personal attention for my cat. Now that we got that out of the way, I trust Dr. Gilley. I don't trust other vets I've taken my pets (2 GSD an 1 cat) to, they are in it for the money and not for the pets. His office isn't pretty, its basic, the ladies behind the desk are kind and give you personal attention. The techs are O K but not necessarily my favorites but they are techs and I'm there for Dr. Gilley - whom I love and so do my pets which says a lot. I recommend Dr.... read more
WHY is it that people that complain don't use their names; I won't either but I have had a Dane, poodle, and two italian greyhounds, all of whom prospered under Dr. Gilley's care and that of his staff; When the end came for them, he was there to help them move on, and never charged a penny for the final treatment, meds, or "buriel". That's one fine person, and one terrific staff; When you go, go early, be patient, polite to those ahead and behind you, and ask your questions. You will get answers; P.G, homestead, fl
Dr. Gilley and his wonderful staff literally saved our puppy, Dixie. She was very near death. Dr. Gilley kept her for 2 days and brought her back to us. We are sooooo happy!!! Thanks Dr. Gilley and Staff!!
I brought my dog in for yearly shots I ask if I can go with my dog so I could ask about other issues the little blond girl at the desk was rude because I refused a heartworm and fecal exam. I told her NO because vets are now saying your animal has to have these tests before they write worm prevention meds. I showed the girl his test from last year was negative and she told I can go somewhere else, so I told her I wanted the yearly shots and about 10 min. later a guy comes out with 2 syringes and injects my dog ,when I went t... read more
Dr. Gilley is by far the most honest and trustworthy doctor I have ever taken my animals to. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone seeking care for their animal companions. I have been a client of his for many, many years.
Who knows how or who Dr. Gilley is, you never meet him. After quite a long wait they come and take your pet and you are not allowed to accompany your animal. When the tech brought back my pet, I was told that my dog was not very friendly. Well he was afraid and you would not let me go with him....... I was charged over 200 Dollars for a check up ..... so I don't know how people find that cheap ..... Dr, Gilley may be a fine Dr. but you should meet for at least a minute with the owners of your patients. We love our pets and w... read more
It is really Sad That People don't understand That Every Illness a dog or cat has has its own set of circumstances. Did the owner wait too long before bringing it the Dr Gilley? Killed their dogs? ... shame! He has been my Vet for all 5 of my Dogs over Many Many Years. I have always Found him the most competent Kind Hearted Vet I have ever known!! . I have always had dogs and Have had Many Vets . His Place is not Fancy and Maybe not as clean as it should be ( because its the busiest vet in the County) But He is the fairest i... read more
