Unfortunately, our experience was very frustrating. The company appears to use low-cost trades, and the quality of work reflected that. We’ve been dealing with repeated deficiencies for over a year, with the same issues being fixed multiple times instead of properly resolved. This dragged the project out far longer than expected and required constant follow-ups on our end. I would strongly recommend not go with this company (GILLAM Group)
Workers are inconsiderate, vindictive, sexist and classist. They harass and insult the women in the low income housing next to where they have been taking over a year to build a small low income apartment building. Don’t use this company unless you want everyone in the neighbourhood to hate you.
Gillam group Does terrible workmanship. I bought a brand new condo. They built Lakhouse and the deficiencies are ridiculous. I wouldn’t even call them deficiencies. I would just call them terrible workmanship. A whole tile is missing underneath my fridge and the fridge is built in so it was very hard to find it hidden underneath, but I did find it and they’ve been looking into the missing tile for 18 months to decide if they’re gonna repair it. it’s still ongoing.
