Gill Brothers is great to work with and helped me every step of the way. Losing a spouse is difficult, and Joe was there for me and my family. All arrangements and planning were handled by Joe and the staff at Gill Brothers, and everything was perfect. I can’t recommend Joe and Gill Brothers enough!
It was a good experience under the sad circumstances. We were fortunate enough to have Joseph helping our family through our loss; all the pre-arrangements, funeral and after. He was so kind and patient with our family. Even went out of his way to meet our family at our home place to make plans, instead of at the funeral home. TL;DR: the company allowed their personal biases to interfere with their professionalism. My experience with Gill Brothers Funeral Home was deeply disappointing and unprofessional. While my wife and I were legally divorced in 2018, we never separated in our hearts and minds. We remained by each other’s sides through everything and were in the process of remarrying. The arrangements for my wife were entirely handled by her family, who demonstrated ongoing hostility towards me, and consequently, I was excluded from any decisions.
