Greetings Yellow Page Viewers, Normally I'm not one for writing reviews. Being a Gilbert Road Self Storage customer of 1 to 2 units for the past 7 years I deem the above review a bit exaggerated. Throughout my past seven years of renting I've encountered one scorpion in the nook between the door track and wall. Quite honestly he was no match against the rubber mallet already in hand. Secure facility, excellent staff If you are looking for a secure storage facility with a great staff, Gilbert Road Self Storage is the place to go to. Tom and Sheila do a great job at running the place and the specials they offer can't be beat. Thanks for always making me feel welcome when I stop by.
My experience with Gilbert Road Self Storage I found the Golbert Road Self Storage Management to be very knowledgeable and responsive to my questions and requests. The unit was very small but it fit the needs that I had. The hours of operation fit all my needs and my experience with this company could not have been any better.
Bugs! – We rented there and found scorpions in our things when we moved out. They said they had pest control but oviously not. Tom and Sheila acted suprised when we asked them about the scorpions. I am sure that they know that they have them and they would not be a selling point so they just left that part out. Very disappointed in the quality of bug control.
Janice I have used storage several times in the past. My experience with them has been pretty generic...put your stuff in the storage unit and pay every month. The managers at Gilbert Road are different than most. They actually care about their facility and the people renting with them. Did you know that the concrete floor will draw the moisture out of your wood furniture? Putting down a sheet of plastic will help curb that.... Just one of many things I learned from them. Janice
